Terms of Service

The short version: Hypekept keeps a copy of your own social media data, at your direction, in a vault you control. We only preserve what you connect, you can export or delete it whenever you want, and we can't undo a platform's decisions about your account. Don't use us to archive other people's accounts.
1. Who we are
These Terms govern your use of the website and services at hypekept.com ("Hypekept," "we," "us"). Hypekept is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, Threads, X Corp., or any other social platform.
2. What Hypekept does
Hypekept acts at your direction to preserve a copy of data from social media accounts that you own or control: your posts, media, profile information, engagement statistics, and interaction history. We access this data through the platforms' official interfaces, with your explicit authorization, which you can revoke at any time.
Hypekept is a preservation service. It is not account recovery, legal insurance, or a guarantee of any outcome on any platform. If a platform suspends, restricts, or deletes your account, we cannot reverse that decision. What we provide is your own copy of what you built, held outside the platform.
3. Your account and eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher).
- You may only connect social accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to manage. Using Hypekept to archive accounts belonging to someone else, without their authority, is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
- You are responsible for keeping your Hypekept login credentials secure.
4. Your data, your ownership
- You retain all rights to the content preserved in your vault. Connecting an account grants us only the limited license needed to store, process, display, and export that data back to you, for the purpose of operating the service.
- We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your vault to train AI models. We do not show your vault to anyone but you (and teammates you explicitly invite).
- You can export your vault at any time in the formats we support, and you can delete your vault at any time. Deletion is permanent.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to collect data about people who have no relationship to your own accounts, or to stalk, harass, or profile any individual;
- resell, republish, or redistribute preserved third-party content (such as other users' comments) outside the personal-archive purpose of the service;
- attempt to circumvent platform security measures, share platform passwords with us (we never ask for them), or use the service in violation of applicable law;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Founding-member pricing stays in effect for as long as the relevant subscription remains continuously active.
- After cancellation, your vault remains exportable for 90 days, after which it is deleted.
- Where required by law, we offer refunds in accordance with applicable consumer-protection rules.
7. Third-party platforms
The service depends on interfaces provided by third-party platforms. Those platforms may change or withdraw access at any time, and features that rely on them may change as a result. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative means of preservation, but we are not liable for platform decisions outside our control.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using Hypekept at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we will make your vault available for export for 30 days unless the law requires otherwise or the termination is for serious abuse.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
